Plot Diagram Updates

RENTED:  All of the plots have been rented except plot #20.

OPEN:  Plot #20 is our only opening.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we have been unable to add soil to new plots #13-#21, which settled over winter.  If you rent one of these, you may add soil yourself from the large pile on the adjoining lower lot.

Do you need a garden space to grow your own food, herbs or flowers?  The Wallace Avenue Community Garden raised bed plots are available to rent on a first-come, first-served basis.  The plots are located behind Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center and any person in the community may rent a garden space.  Garden plots will be issued on a year-to-year basis for the period of February 1 to December 1 and gardeners in good standing will have the option to renew their plots each year.  Garden plots are available in three sizes, and fee includes a $20 refundable clean-up deposit.

Large Plot - (104 square feet) for $55.00 - includes $35.00 plot fee + $20.00 deposit.

L-Shaped Plot - (60 square feet) for $45.00 - includes $25.00 plot fee + $20.00 deposit.

Small Plot - (38 square feet) for $35.00 - includes $15.00 plot fee + $20.00 deposit.

We still have many plots available to rent.  Forms can be mailed to you, left in our drop box at the West entrance door, or you can download and print them.  Checks should be made payable to the Master Gardener Association of Grayson County and mailed to the Grayson County Extension Office at 123 Commerce Drive in Leitchfield.  When your payment and rental agreement have been received, you will be issued a water key.  Call (270) 259-3492
for more information.
